Doc Wiley’s counterpart in the rhythm section, Decker is the scion of Paul Decker, who is co-founder of the Waiting and served as its original drummer. Despite being one of the youngest members of The Waiting, Ethan has long been an in-demand gig-seasoned percussionist who earned his father’s former position through hard work and legit talent. He started on drums at around 5 years old, then formed a band, won talent shows, and busked regularly on Bozeman’s Main Street downtown. He even opened for the Waiting at the Zebra and the Molly Brown. So, when the opportunity came to join the Waiting, he was ready to accept.
